Race Description

The 2nd annual Dare to CARe 5K is a race that includes: Runner, Walkers, & Shadow Runners. A Kid’s Fun run is also available. It is a mostly flat course. All proceeds go to benefit CAReS which provides Case Management for all clients including emergency needs (food, utility assistance, and prescription medication), referrals (food banks, housing/shelter, health care, social service organizations and clothing, and miscellaneous needs (household goods, baby products, personal grooming needs, birth certificates and identification documents.)

The entry fee is $20 (pre-registered before Aug. 7). $25 from Aug. 8-17. $10 for Kid’s Fun Run. T-shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered participants.

Trophies to overall male/female finishers. Individual categories trophies to 1st male/female in each category. Medals to 2nd & 3rd place finishers in each male/female age group. All Kid’s Fun Run participants receive medals.
