Race Description

T-Shirt (if registered before September 6th), refreshments and awards, course monitors, ample parking. Awards to the top master Male, Female, and Firefighter for each race. Age Group Awards: 14 & Under – 1st Male/Female, 15-19 – Top two Males/Females, Top Three Males/Females Awards in the 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ categories. Awards immediately following the race. Must be present to win. Participants may pick up their race packet the night before the race from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the fire station (2380 Davidsonville Road, Gambrills, MD, 21054) or on race day from 6:30-8:00 a.m. at race start location. Participants must show their driver’s license or other identification to pick up race packet. Race Day Timeline: 6:30-7:30 a.m. – Check in. 7:30 a.m. – Participants can join a warm-up session with Professional Trainer and AVFD Member, Jessica, near the race start location. 7:45 a.m. – Bagpiper and National Anthem. 8:00 a.m. – 10k Start. 8:30 a.m. – 5k Start.
