Race Description

The Musk Ox Farm is celebrating a decade of hoof-stomping success with the 10th Annual Running with the Bulls, on Sunday, August 5th in Palmer, located on 12850 on the East Archie road. There will also be live music, delicious concessions, and a raffle with prizes from local businesses, including a round-trip ticket on the Alaska Railroad.

The Musk Ox Farm is excited to continue last year’s popular races, including a energizing 1k Kids Fun-Run, an invigorating 5k Run/Walk, and a challenging 10k run for the serious stampeder that twists and turns alongside the musk ox pastures, while the epic peaks of the Talkeetna and Chugach mountains frame the pastoral scenery.

Bib pick-up and race day registration begins at 11am Sunday August 5th. Races begin at 1 pm. Entry fee includes bib, professional timing, race T-shirt, snacks, raffle ticket, and bottled water.

The course is timed by REM Data. Participants who simply want to enjoy a run, walk, or jog also receive a race number, official time-score, t-shirt, water, and snacks.

Pre-register at www.muskoxfarm.org/events. Tickets for children twelve years old and younger are ten dollars, for all others, twenty-five dollars. Registration after July 28th, 2012 will cost thirty dollars. Whether or not you intend to run, come enjoy the beautiful farm, magnificent animals and vibrant atmosphere at The Farm!
