Race Description

Get ready for take-off at our unique 10k running event ‘airside’ at Newquay Cornwall Airport. Experience running through hangars, past the terminal building and round the runway whilst raising vital funds to keep our helicopter flying! You will also run past the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust’s new helicopter hangar. If 10k seems a bit daunting there is a 4k ‘fun run’ option for children and adults alike.

Runners will be spoilt rotten at the finishing line with a FREE, well deserved pint from the Sharps bar (for those over 18), a bag full of goodys and pampered with a sports massage to ease those aching calf muscles! And if that wasn’t enough all runners will receive a commemorative medal and the first 200 runners to sign up will be the lucky owners of a limited Runway Runaround t-shirt (which will be as coveted as the Countdown teapot!!)

Why not make a day of it and bring your friends and family along to see you in action in the spectator viewing area where they can grab some food and enjoy cheering you on.
