Race Description

After such a successful launch last month, it’s time for the second race in the Rainforest Foundation UK’s inaugural 4 SEASONS CHALLENGE: Four 10K races held in four parks across North, South, East and West London. And our Summer race is really where the fun begins with East London representing their form around Hackney Marshes on July 3!

The first of our 4 Season Challenges, the Spring 10K, took place in Kew last month. A festive crowd came to run for the rainforest in both the kid’s 1K and our usual 10K. Once again we’re expecting a good turn-out for the Summer event in Hackney Marshes and particularly looking forward to the kids 1K, a real family affair with parents and friends running alongside the children! We’ll of course have the all usual extras including refreshments and massage therapists, as well as the much appreciated Zumba warm-up! Runners can enter individual races as a one-time competitor or register for the full 4 Seasons Challenge with the Spring 2012 event soon to be launched (so if Hackney Marshes will be your first race you can still complete the full challenge!). There are no rules about which race must be completed to begin the Challenge, you just need to compete in four consecutive events.
