Run10K Hylands Park – part of the Cancer Research Run10K Autumn Race Series, which welcomes men as well as women. The terrain is mainly […] Old School running event. Est 1961. One of the oldest events in the UK. Fast and furious at the front end. 3 lap course round Wimbledon park and surrounding roads. The race is a flat 4 lap race around Poole Park lakes. A bottle of wine to each finisher over 18. To find entry form, go to http://www.pooleac.co.uk/ and hover over “Club Races” then click on “”The Lakes 10K” this should give you the 2009 race entry form (rather than the 2006 version). New Event to be held monthly in 2010. 5k time trial on paths within the park. Currently free to enter, registration from 8.15am at the Cricket Pavilion. |
