Downtown Rocks n’ Runs is a family event sponsored by United Fund of Surry as part of the annual fund raising campaign kick-off event. The purpose of Downtown Rocks and Runs is to promote awareness of the United Fund and our mission to help our community-based 26 non-profit member agencies. 
The scenic route will have runners starting & finishing in Cameron Village, passing by the NCSU Bell Tower, the newly renovated Pullen Park, Historical Boylan Heights, Governor Morehead School, along Western Blvd. and MLK Blvd, the Raleigh Downtown skyline, MLK Statute, and over 6 miles on the paved beautiful Raleigh Greenway.
