Race Description

The Marathon starts outside the awesome Ely Cathedral, you will pass through the City of Ely and onto the river bank of the River Great Ouse. You’ll follow this path to Wicken Fen, the first ever National Trust site, the halfway and turnaround point. You will then follow the same route back to the ‘Ship of the Fens’.

This event is ideal for all; it’s low key and friendly, it’s flat, the route is well marked and there is support on course. With a few obstacles (steps, stiles, cattle grids) along the way, this is more of an adventure / fun (yes you read right) course than one to chase a PB on.
