Race Description

Bristol Varsity 10k is a brand new race taking in the vibrant surrounds of Bristol Harbourside. On this flat course you will speed past the magnificent SS Great Britain and enjoy the sights and sounds of this unique waterfront race.

In true Varsity style, students, staff, alumni and friends of the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England will go head to head over 10,000m. There are two universities in Bristol and on Sunday 22nd February 2015 there will be just one winner! All runners are free to pick which university to run for. The race will be chip timed, you will receive a free t-shirt in team colours and you do not need to be affiliated to either university to take part. The winning university will be decided on the average times of runners. Who will you run for?

Not just for students, Bristol Varsity 10k welcomes runners from local clubs, the community and further afield. Even if you’ve never run the distance before – make Bristol Varsity you’re first! You are sure to enjoy this flat PB potential course.
