Race Description

Test your senses and agility on our 5km multi-lap cross-country Obstacle Night Race. You have 2 hours to complete as many laps as you can over & through 20 obstacles over open fields, woodland, lakes, tracks, ditches, river crossings and hills. For the first time, 2014 will see part of the course run through the 30 metre deep, 3 storey Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker, which not only has a lot of history but also corridors, tunnels, stairs & a deadly silent atmosphere all of it’s own! Expect climbs, crawls, swings, jumps, ramps, monkey bars and loads of mud.
It will be dark – you will be challenged physically and mentally as obstacles appear at you from the darkness. The course is designed to test your endurance in difficult conditions, fill you with adrenaline and sap you of energy as all your senses strain to work out what is coming next. The course will be fully marshalled & lit in places. This race is chip-timed. Free parking, mains connected water stations on the course, onsite emergency medics.
