Race Description

Celebrate the legacy of Brian Piccolo with a meaningful and uplifting 5K starting and ending at Porter Cullens in Evergreen Park. The Brian Piccolo Spirits Run follows a simple out‑and‑back route to St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, offering runners a quiet moment near Piccolo’s resting place before returning to the pub for a post‑run celebration. This event is designed for all paces — walkers, joggers, and runners are warmly welcomed.

Every participant receives a post‑run drink and a bite, included with registration and redeemable using bib tabs. Spectators are encouraged to join the atmosphere, cheer on their runners, and enjoy Porter Cullens’ offerings on their own.

As part of the 102‑county Illinois Spirits Run Series, this race blends community, remembrance, and local spirit. Join us for a heartfelt run honoring a Chicago legend whose courage and determination continue to inspire.
