Race Description

It is a 5K race & Fun Walk. 5K race registration is at 6:30 – 8:00 a.m. with race starting at 8:15 a.m. with the Fun Walk registration at 7:00-8:30 a.m. with Fun Walk starting at 8:45 a.m. at the Kiwanis Community Park at the City of Tempe – Tempe Town Lake area, on Sun, Oct., 16th, 2011. It is a fund raiser for Veteran’s children to the age of 18 to help them with camps both educational and recreational; Christmas with presents, clothes, etc.; with school supplies – back packs, etc; with emotional support with parent(s) being deployed, etc.; and with any other type of need that the children may need throughout the year. As we are a 501C3 non-profit – all donations are tax deductible as well as the race fees. Fees are $15.00 for adults; veterans – active duty $10.00; youth 12-18 $5.00; children 5 – 12 are two for $5.00; and under 5 free. This is a fund raiser for Veteran’s children and you will get a receipt.
