Race Description
Chosen Marathon for Adoption is on October 29, 2011 in New Braunfels, Texas. It is a half and full-marathon. All proceeds go towards adoptive families and orphans around the world.
165 million orphans worldwide long for a family & need a home.
Chosen: Marathon for Adoption in New Braunfels, TX is a benefit race whose mission is to impact the livelihood of orphans around the world and help adoptive families offset the cost of adoption. All proceeds will go towards adoptive families and directly care for the needs of orphans. In 2011, in addition to helping many adoptive families, we have committed part of our proceeds to helping with building projects in Burundi & Haiti that will vastly improve the living conditions of many orphans.
Route begins & ends at Rockin’ R in historic Gruene, Texas and travels along the Guadalupe down beautiful River Road.
