Race Description

Whichever distance you are taking part in, you will see some of the most beautiful and remarkable landscapes of any run in the country. The 10km, Half Marathon and Marathon all include breath taking running along the gorge cliff top path looking down the gorge and across the with open Somerset Meadows. The routes work there way along the historic Mendip Hills which include signs of Roman mining and World War II bunkers.

The Half Marathon and Marathon head over to Beacon Batch, the highest point on the Mendip Hills with incredible 360 degree views from the summit. The area we run through is a designated AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), a stunning landscape and we feel very fortunate to be holding events in such a special place.

We have our unique omnium event which is where everyone takes part in 4 races on the day;

Endurance; 6km, 10km or Half
Sprint; 100m
Middle Distance; 1km
Hill Climb; we are at Cheddar….it would be rude not to!

A fun event, great for team events to see who is the best all rounder.
