Race Description

Looking to get fit for the summer and need a target? – Then why not train for the annual Bude Lifeboat Run on Wednesday 15 June.
The run organised by Launceston Road Runners and sponsored by Outdoor Adventure is a scenic, single lap, Senior 6 mile multi-terrain run using cycle ways, canal towpath, farm tracks and footpaths around Bude Marshes and the Whalesborough estate. The course will be fully marshalled by RNLI supporters and include 2 water stations. Runners must be 15 or older on the day. The first 100 participants who take part in the run will receive a polo shirt and everyone who completes the course will receive a commemorative memento. Prizes will be awarded to individual and team category winners.
In addition, there is a Junior 1 Mile Run using a single lap, flat course along cycle ways and canal towpath. All who complete the course will receive a commemorative memento and prizes will be awarded to category winners.

Facilities at the Start/Finish include showers and changing rooms. The Bude RNLI crew will provide a BBQ and the Rugby Club bar will be open. Bude RNLI Guild will be on site selling RNLI souvenirs. There is free car parking at The Crescent Car Park in Bude just a short walk from the Start/ Finish area. Bude Lifeguards will provide first aid cover. All surplus funds will be donated to the RNLI.
