Race Description
This will see the MHFS 10k for Men (Men’s 10k) reach it’s 6th year in Glasgow and with every year, the event becomes bigger and better! It’s held each year on Father’s Day and it’s aim is to raise awareness of men’s health issues in Scotland and to encourage men to take part in healthy physical activity all year round.
Men of all ages (15 to 83 in 2010!) take part each year and of them, 40% are aged 40 and over, and around 40% are taking part in their first ever 10k event.
the course record was smashed in 2010 and is 30:47, with the last person coming in at well over 3 hours! So, whatever your time, you’ll not be alone!
There is a brilliant atmosphere with men of all shapes and sizes encouraging each other along the scenic route encompassing two of Glasgow’s beautiful parks, Bellahouston and Pollok.
